I’m Juan, a product designer working across banking, fintech, healthcare and more, turning complex ideas into things that feel surprisingly simple.
I design across mobile and desktop, from early ideas to products that are already too big to break.
Lately, I’ve been exploring AI and vibe coding, pushing ideas further and getting closer to how things are built, not just how they look.
I didn’t start in design. I studied law in Buenos Aires and practiced for a few years. It was a good training, just not for the kind of problems I wanted to solve.
Switching to design gave me a different way of thinking. Less about rules, more about navigating ambiguity, understanding constraints, and making things work in practice.
Over time, I found myself enjoying the messy part. Aligning teams, translating requirements, and shaping solutions that actually hold up once they’re live.
I’ve led design efforts and worked closely with product and engineering, adapting to different contexts while bringing structure and clarity.
My self-taught background in photography and graphic design gave me a strong eye for detail and composition. These days, I still care about how things look, but I care even more about how they work.
Outside of work, I’m usually playing tennis, golf or football, or illustrating when I want to slow things down.
Here’s what I bring to the table for you
Turning chaos into direction
I turn fuzzy ideas into something teams can actually work with.
Making complex things behave
I simplify flows so users don’t have to think twice.
Not just pretty in Figma
From idea to shipped product, without losing clarity.
Helping teams speak the same language
I align product, design and engineering to move faster.
Things I’ve worked on (and shipped)
Working on Intus Care, a patient management platform used by PACE centers across the US to support care for elderly and high-risk populations. Leading end-to-end UX/UI design, from research to high-fidelity and prototyping, collaborating closely with product and engineering. Also worked with Gilead designing an iOS app for iPad and iPhone, used by pharma sales teams in the US, acting as the sole designer and focusing on data-heavy interfaces, native iOS components and clear information hierarchy. Focused on creating intuitive, data-driven experiences that align business goals with real user needs.
Led the UX design for Now, a Mexican neobank, shaping a modern and accessible digital banking experience. Worked across the full design process, contributing to product direction and design system consistency. Simplified complex financial flows into clear, user-friendly experiences that support adoption and engagement.
Taught UX/UI design across different levels, mentoring students through real-world projects. Stayed close to evolving design practices while reinforcing core principles through teaching.
Designed digital products across industries, focusing on usability, clarity and scalable interfaces. Worked on e-commerce platforms, improving navigation and conversion through research, design and iteration. Collaborated with cross-functional teams to deliver consistent, user-centered experiences.
Junior UI Designer
Worked across multiple projects, contributing from concept to execution alongside design and development teams.
